SILKWIRES LTD ("UNRUSH", "we", "us"), publisher of the unrushtravel.com platform, is committed to protecting the personal data of every visitor and traveller who interacts with us, wherever you live. Our platform operates internationally and we collect personal data from people on every continent. Our processing is anchored in Vietnam's Personal Data Protection Decree (Decree 13/2023/ND-CP) as the law of our principal place of business, and we additionally honour the rights and obligations of foreign data protection regimes — including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK Data Protection Act, California's CCPA/CPRA, Brazil's LGPD, and equivalent laws — where they apply to you as a data subject.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

We process your personal data on the following legal bases:

  • Contract performance: to fulfill services you have requested
  • Legitimate interests: to improve our services and prevent fraud
  • Consent: for marketing communications and non-essential cookies
  • Legal obligation: to comply with applicable laws

5. Data Sharing and the Travel Inquiry Service

The purpose of our platform is to connect you with certified independent travel agencies that match your destination and travel preferences. To do so, the following sharing occurs:

  • Travel agencies listed on our directory: when you submit a travel inquiry, your contact details (name, email, phone where provided) and the substance of your inquiry (destination, dates, group size, budget range, preferences) are made available to up to five travel agencies listed on the unrushtravel.com directory operating in your destination of interest. These agencies pay UNRUSH a service fee for access to verified inquiries that match their expertise — this is the core economic model of our matchmaking service. Each agency receives your inquiry strictly so it can prepare a personalised travel proposal for you; they are contractually bound not to use your data for any other purpose, not to retain it beyond what is necessary to prepare that proposal, and not to share it onward.
  • Service providers: we rely on third parties to operate the platform — including Vercel Inc. for hosting, Brevo for transactional email, and Anthropic for content generation. These providers act as data processors under our instructions and do not use your data for their own purposes.
  • Legal and regulatory requirements: we may disclose your data when required by a competent authority or in response to a valid legal request.

Outside of these specific categories, we do not transfer your personal data to advertisers, data brokers, or other unrelated third parties.

6. International Data Transfers

Because our infrastructure and partners operate globally, your personal data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside Vietnam or the European Economic Area, including the United States. We take reasonable measures to ensure that transfers occur under appropriate safeguards in line with Vietnamese law and, where applicable, GDPR (Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent).

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, and in any event no longer than:

  • Contact form inquiries: 3 years from last contact
  • Travel request data: 5 years for contractual and legal compliance
  • Analytics data: 13 months

To exercise your rights, contact us at support (@) unrushtravel . com. We will respond within the timeframe required by the law that applies to you (typically 30 days under GDPR, 45 days under CCPA, 60 days under Vietnam's PDPD).

You may also lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority in your jurisdiction — for example the Ministry of Public Security in Vietnam, your national Data Protection Authority within the EEA, the Information Commissioner's Office in the UK, or the California Privacy Protection Agency in California.
